School Girl

It is hard to believe! She is in 2nd grade! I am curious to hear how the first day went. Same classroom, same classmates, different teacher.

Here are pictures of her previous "first days". First day of Kindergarten, first day of first grade, and then today, first day of second grade.

Tail End

The tail end of our trip...

Visiting with S, J, and S. One of the biggest highlights of every trip. LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM, and miss them so much!
Scarborough Beach, RI. (Nana is playing with Kev in the sand.)
This wasn't necessarily one of the biggest highlights, but it was special. This is Grampy painting birdhouses with the kids.
On our last night... celebrating Kevin's 4th birthday.
The crew on the flight home deemed Juliana and Kevin "THE BEST KIDS ON EARTH", so they were invited into the cockpit. The pilot said occasionally he likes to invite children into the cockpit, since that is the moment he realized he wanted to be a pilot.

I took well over 250 pictures, but so many are random shots. We did much more on our trip, but I think you get the idea. Can't wait to go back! Thanks to everyone we visited for making our vacation so fabulous. xoxoxo

Highlights

Our vacation in the most simple way possible, photos. Here are the highlights...

It rained and rained. Kev thought it was super cool, so we sat outside on Nana and Grampy's porch and he felt the drops.
Girls night out! A BLAST!!!! Wish I had the group shot... hint hint.... anyone have it?
Visiting with Alexandra and fam.
On the lake where Uncle Kyle lives. Juliana loved jumping off the dock.
NYC Times Square with Kerri and Jeff. WE MISS YOU!

That is the first few days of our vacation. I will get to the rest of our NYC trip and the end of our vacation too.

Beachitis

The last week-ish has been a blast! I'm suffering from a bad case of BEACHITIS at the moment. It occurs when the waves throw you onto your knees one too many times, when the sand sticks to every inch of your body, and when you can not muster energy to leave the premisis because of relaxation.

Other than my severe case of BEACHITIS, I have made it through two forced days with hubby alone in Manhattan, drinks with friends, and visiting people we miss so much. Tough days, I know.

Back to the real world SOOOOOOON!

August days

This is what we've been up to...

My friend and her wife just adopted a baby, so we stopped by for some snuggle time. Both Mama and Mommy are excited for their new adventure and have stepped into the roles fabulously. I even caught Mommy clipping coupons for diapers on sale. Haaaaaa!
BIRTHDAY PARTY SEASON! This picture is at my "niece" Kelsey's 6th birthday party, but we have been to sooooooo many in the last couple weeks.

Other happenings... grabbing a brush and dancing to HANNAH MONTANA just to be adorable.

And more happenings... going for walks and checking for more ducks, fish, or anything else under the docks.

TWO GIRLS n' ONE GODMOMMY

This should probably be a long post, but I do not have the energy at the moment. I just got back from Little Rock, Arkansas a few hours ago. I was asked by my best friend Tory to be her girls' godmother, and saturday was their baptism. The girls had a private baptism which was very intimate and memorable. I love my two gorgeous goddaughters!!!!

One of Tory's friends from the area was also there and took TONS of pictures, so I didn't worry about taking too many. Hopefully they will be better than these.

It is wonderful to be back home with my two babies, but I miss those other two faces that I can not see every day. More about the trip later....
