A Fabulous November Weekend!

This weekend has been full of fun, so far! Yesterday, friday, we went to see Tory in Ohio. Although it was fun to see Tory, her mother Nancy had surgery and was in the ICU in Toledo, which was the purpose for her unscheduled visit. Nancy is doing much better now, which is wonderful news! We went out to dinner with Tory and her Dad John to Friendly's. Oooooooohhhh, we felt like we were back in New England! Juliana had a wonderful time with Auntie Tory and talked her ear off. NOT A SURPRISE!

Today, we went to the Dan Zanes concert! What an amazing performer and man!! We saw him walking along a path near the parking garage, and he was generous to talk a little and even acknowlege Juliana when she said "I love you Dan!" The concert was a perfect occasion for every child and parent. Juliana was much like Grand Rosie. She made friends up in the front row and never looked back. She danced her heart away! After the concert, Dan Zanes signed anything and everything for the kids. He was very gracious and as you can see, he let us take plenty of pictures.

We are off to a Pet Expo tomorrow. Lots of doggy races, puppies to pet, kitties to drool over, and snakes to hold. More another day....

Busy November

It's been a busy November already! Mommy's birthday was November 7, little cousin Cooper's birthday is today, Uncle Patrick tomorrow, and Auntie Steph turns 30 on November 28. Not to mention that we will be heading to New Jersey on our 12 hour "WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU THINKING" drive for Thanksgiving. Juliana is elated to see Aunt Dee Dee and the rest of the crew. For those of you who do not know who Aunt Dee Dee is, she is Aunt Debbie, Nana's sister.

Grand (my mom) came for a quick visit this last weekend. We went to Frankenmuth, MI. If you despise Christmas or think that it should only be acknowledged beginning on Black Friday, then Frankenmuth is not for you. The entire town is decked out with Santa and his reindeer 365 days a year. We had a great time with Grand! Life is pretty busy these days.

I'll write this weekend after Juliana's first concert, DAN ZANES! Get out your guitars everyone! Shhhhhhhh, it's a surprise!

Our Halloween

Halloween in this house was a bit scary! A party on saturday kicked off a sugar high that is still lingering. Halloween came along and so did more chocolate. I believe Willy Wonka would be jealous if he came to our house. Oddly enough, many of our neighbors were not home or just had their lights off last night. Juliana and Kevin stole the show every time they arrived at somebody's house. Handfulls upon handfulls of candy were given in the pumpkin bucket. When we got home, we counted 1,2,3...147, 148! 148 pieces of candy! Who knew a 4 year old could count that high, or even wanted to count that high!

I'll admit, there are probably only 140 pieces left since Daddy and I got to them. Come on, I've never had a Take 5!
