FINALLY, SOME NEW PHOTOS

I spent most of this weekend away preparing for my second interview for a job at an undisclosed location. Haaaaa, it is only undisclosed because sharing it with the rest of the world isn't the best idea. You'll all find out about it if/when I get the job. Let's put it this way, I am more excited about this job than anything I have ever done in the past. WISH ME LUCK!

I am finally posting photos. Our camera is still in the dumps, but somehow it mananges to work when it wants to operate. The photos are Kevin opening birthday presents that arrived after his party. LUCKY KIDDO! Juliana thought he was a lucky boy too. Thank you Auntie Shannon and John for the dump truck and the hammer! Thank you Uncle Bryan and Jean for reminding us of how much we miss New England by sending the Patriots outfit. Haaa! Nana and Grampy also sent a gift recently and the Settembrino's. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!! My camera only works for a couple pictures, then is out for a few days. I wish I had pictures of Kevin opening all of the gifts, or him playing with all of his wonderful gifts. I'll try once we get a new camera battery. I PROMISE!

Last but not least, I had the wonderful experience of seeing baby Angelina Theresa in the hospital this weekend, along with Mommy Elaine and Daddy Aaron. She is such an angel. I was giddy in the hospital. It was as if I never experienced a newborn before. I guess all babies are precious and make us feel tingly inside. Again, CONGRATULATIONS ELAINE and AARON!

Tim and Kelly are proud parents of a precious baby boy!

Dallon Gage

7 lbs 1 oz

I have a couple adorable pictures of baby Dallon, but I do not have permission to share them with the world, so I will have to restrain myself from posing it. Trust me, this baby is one handsome kiddo! For the sake of confusion, Tim is my cousin. I guess this makes great-grandbaby #13 for Granny. WHOAAAA! That's impressive!

Congratulations Tim, Kelly, and big sister Carson!!!

Searching and searching

Wednesday was a big day for me. I was offered the teaching position that I had wanted so badly. After two days of organizing child care, before/after school arrangements for Juliana, and transportation, it came to a screeching halt. I did the math and we all know numbers don't lie. I ended up declining the position because the costs associated with it were so extravagant. I am back to square one and extremely frustrated with the job search. Something is waiting for me, I just don't know what it is yet. So, I am still searching and searching for the right fit for me, and what will work for the kids too.

Mom was here this morning and brought Shadow for a quick visit. We just had breakfast and drove around town. A short visit, but always wonderful to see Mom.

My camera is still out of commission. I hope to get it fixed or buy a new one soon. Believe it or not, that isn't on our top priority list for expenses, so I have a feeling pictures will be few and far between.

Happy 2nd Birthday!

Our not-so baby boy turned 2 today. Kevin woke up with a smile, although confused of Mommy's excitement and singing "Happy Birthday" while still in his crib. We had a fun party with Grand, Uncle Patrick, Auntie Laura, Auntie Steph, Uncle Kyle, Taylore, Trace, Nonnie, Grand Liz, Grand Patty (haaa), and Phil. Kevin was spoiled with a T-ball set, puzzles, books, block sets, a train set, and much much more. I think he simply enjoyed the company and running around more than any gift he received. Both Juliana and Kevin are settled on the couch right now exhausted from our long day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEVIN! xoxoxo

Here are some snapshots from September 8, 2005, 2006, and 2007.

A Day Of Pure Excitement!

Today will always be remembered as a day of pure excitement. Juliana started Kindergarten! She was comfortable from the moment we walked onto the school campus and got a bit lost. Her classroom is a typical Kindergarten room with calendars, numbers, colors, etc. Her teacher seems great too! All of the parents were asked to stay for the first hour, so I accepted, of course. The teacher gave the children an assignment with handprints or something along those lines. The other parents were reading the paper and the directions to their children, and here is my shining star reading the directions to me. I'll admit, I was a proud Mommy! I am forever grateful that Juliana walked into the classroom happy and ready to learn. What else can I ask for!

When I got home, I had to call Tory. Most of you know Tory, although if you don't, to refresh your memory, we have been "best friends" since 8th grade, she was in our wedding, and is Juliana's godmother too. Tory is having her baby sometime today and I can hardly wait to hear of the birth. I am sad she is in Arkansas, so I am not able to give some big hugs to Tory and baby smooches to her angel, but hopefully I will see them soon.

Today was so exciting, that I am going to only give a quick note about the weekend. I had a blast with Meara, Justin, Mandy, Sadie, Lindsey, Mark, Sonia, and everyone else at the beach this past weekend. I had to leave a day early because I got severely sunburned. I won't go into details, but I have to say that the pain has rivaled going through a c-section. Horrid pain. The beach and the company this weekend was priceless. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR A FUN WEEKEND!

Are you wondering where the pictures are??? I think my camera has finally died. I had to use a disposable camera for Juliana's first day and I will get those developed later today or tomorrow. Lots to do. Kevin's birthday is on saturday, so there is a lot to think about. Maybe Kevin will get a new camera for his birthday that only Mommy and Daddy can use. Hmmmmmmmmm.............
