The Pacific and some pumpkins too

The Pumpkin Festival was... well, I can not accurately finish that statement.  We never actually went to the festival today.  Three words, TOO MANY PEOPLE!  We ended up going to the same pumpkin patch that we went to last year.  No parking issues, no crowding issues, and for goodness sake, the pumpkins were cheap.  The kids had a blast running around the pumpkins, chasing chickens, running through a hay maze, jumping in monster tires full of hay, and of course, pulling the pumpkin wagons too.
After the pumpkin adventure, we went out to eat at a yummy restaurant on the Pacific.  Gorgeous views, and FABULOUS food too.
(Daddy and Kevin outside of the restaurant.)

On our way home on Highway 1, we stopped at an isolated beach right at sunset.  Beautiful. Serene. Amazing (I hate that word). Romantic (minus the screaming kids). Chilly. Gorgeous.  We found a few mussel shells, lots of seaweed, frigid surfers, and huge coastline rocks.

That's our day.
